Green Smoothies



I've read about these here but never tried them until my sister Nic said they were good. Now I'm hooked! Basically you just add spinach to a fruit smoothie with yogurt or cottage cheese. You really can't taste the spinach, and I seem to eat healthier the whole day if I drink one of these for breakfast. I think it keeps me full for a long time.
Here's what I put in today. Spinach, cantaloupe, blueberries, peaches, yogurt, orange juice, and a couple little oranges. It was yummy!

OK, you guys are getting way too healthy for me, I think. Don't know if I dare try spinach, but I love smoothies.

I'm glad you like them, T. I've got to keep making them. My kids won't eat them now that they know what's in them....silly kids.

OK, so I tried this today. (1/22) Mike even drank it. I did the recipe I gave you guys, complete with flax oil. I bought a medium sized bottle of flax oil at the health food store for... $16.99!!! Wow, that stuff is expensive. It was good! Very surprised. I didn't go overboard with the spinach though. Need to work my way up. Thanks!
