3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
2/3 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 TBSP ketchup
2 TBSP cornstarch
Place all ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir continuously until the mixture has thickened.
Very good! We made this sauce to go with our egg rolls. At first, it seemed a little thin, but it was just the right consistency to stick to the egg rolls.
