Chocolate Zucchini Cake



Another family favorite. No frosting needed!

1 cup margarine
½ cup oil
1 ¾ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups zucchini (peeled & grated)
2 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup buttermilk
3 TBSP cocoa
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream margarine, sugar & oil. Add eggs - mix. Add rest of
ingredients. Mix lightly. Pour batter into a greased 9 X 13 pan.

Sprinkle on top before baking:
¾ cup brown sugar
3/4 bag of chocolate chips
nuts (optional)

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.








The cake is very moist. The chocolate chips sink to the bottom.
